When
living in Iran, as I spent most of my time with composing music,
I also had this burning inner yearning towards Mysticism. I spent
more than five years with my Master Dr. Sharif Aladin Mashkor to
pursue my natural call for Mystical Trainings.
In 1976, I left Iran, spending one year in England, and then heading
towards The United States. In these past 31 years, I have composed
many songs out which I have published 14 CDs. As I was spending
my time with my music, I did not forget my passion for painting.
As part of my training, to be a better painter, I attended the classes
given by the famous Iranian Painter, Mr. Arjomand for a few years.
It was 1979, I had this calling in me that I should spend more time
expressing my True Self through a combination of Music and Poetry.
My first work on this pursue, I named “The Gift” which
was poetries of Omar Khayam, along with my music. In two years I
was able to compose a few more successful CDs, such as “Shotorban”,
and etc. It was the acceptance of these works by a larger group
of audience which lead to my numerous tours of concerts in the US,
Canada, Europe, and Scandinavian Countries. I appeared in many TV
talk shows in the US, and Europe, and was interviewed by Radio Stations
in Los Angles, Iranian Language Radio Stations. Many articles appeared
in famous magazines and newspapers such as Le Monde in France.
